My birth name is Gwendolyn Fahringer.  I have always been called Wendy. So you may see both names. I attended McNeese State University and graduated with a bachelor of science in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education in 2013.  I started teaching at G.W. Carver Elementary in 2014. I teach all subjects. I worked at Pinewood Elementary for a semester. I’ve taught fifth grade, third grade, and second grade. My favorite is second grade! I’m thankful for the opportunity to teach. I love teaching and I believe it is a gift!

I have two children, Corey and daughter-in-law, Gabby, Celeste and son-in-law, Renn. I have six grandchildren. Corey and Gabby have four children and Celeste and Renn have two. I am blessed!

I love being outside! I like to exercise and ride my bicycle. I love the water and swimming. I love gardening and of course, playing with my grandchildren.
